So yeah, I follow Formula One Racing and have done so for longer than I can remember. Always been a David Coulthard supporter and it's weird with him not driving now. No idea why I started supporting him although it may have been because of his accent!

I'm hoping Jenson Button does well this season bacause he deserves it. He's clearly a good driver as he managed to win a race in a bad car and now that Brawn GP have produced a fast car he dominated the first race, beating his team mate Reubens Barrichello on driving skills.

Anyone who is friends with me on the god awful yet seemingly compulsary site facebook will know that I am a member of a couple of anti-Hamilton groups. He is up his own and clearly a spoilt brat. Hamilton proved this after the first race of the new season.

After finishing 4th in a bad car, thanks to accidents & well timed safety cars, he decided 4th wasn't good enough and went to complain to the stewards. This resulted in Jarno Trulli (who I also support) being given a 25second penalty and being dropped a long way down in the results. I wasn't a happy bunny.

THEN, my mother races into my room and tells me to look at the BBC F1 site.

Hamilton lied to the stewards. Haha. He lied when it was all recorded for TV and his radio transmittions and everything about the car are also recorded. How the hell did he think he'd get away with it??

So good news. He's been disqualified. Which means no points and the possiblity of further action being taken against him and the team! Also Trulli has been reinstated in third. Big smiles all round then.


EDIT: It has just been announced on BBCR2 news that Hamilton could be disqualified from the entire season or from a few races.



Hopefully I didn't bore anyone too much with this but the news made me very happy :D
