I give up

 I am officially fed up of burning my hand holding the wire into my laptop for it to receive any power from the mains. Transferring everything onto CD (well the stuff that'll fit anyway) and then I'm taking my laptop apart to see if I can fix it myself as I simply cannot afford to either get a new one or pay for any repairs. Alternatively a job so I can pay for it sorting properly would be nice.
