Evening honeys,
So yes i got into Leeds Uni even though my grades weren't even good enough to get me into my back-up choice of Herriot Watt - ok so that was because they didn't believe that maths and further maths are different subjects! As of September I will take up my place studing Civil & Structural Engineering and hope I find it interesting enough for me to make an effort and do some work, unlike these past two years.
I've just gotten back from an amazing holiday in cornwall. It was amazing because I felt so relaxed and at home down there, in the beautiful countryside, I didn't even mind having to share a bedroom with my annoying twat of a brother...grr how I hate him... where was I... oh yes I'm back in Leeds and hating the fact that I can see a busy road and a council estate through my bedroom window rather than a hedge, lots of fields and SHEEP. I hate the fact that I'm stuck inside with nothing better to do than watch shitty television and go on the internet (ok so i did miss my daily dose of slacken_ties), never thought I'd say this but I actually miss laying on the beach, and I miss the silence. I miss organic bread, fresh organic strawberries, pears for breakfast and the gorgeous Toffee cake they made in the little cafe at Praa sands.
What I don't miss is the lack of mobile signal whilst waiting for a very important phone call, and the lack of healthy food for the evening meal - can't call it tea as it wasn't 'til about 8pm.
One of the main questions for me now is do I stick it out in the city and go to uni, or do I run away to the country? At least I know that if I'm willing to 'rough it' and live in a tent for the summer, that there is a summer job available for me at Retanna caravanpark/campsite in Cornwall. And as soon as I graduate, if I make it that far, I will pick up sticks and move to the west country, or scotland, not decided that yet!
I think that's all for now, watch it as soon as I click post I will realise what I was going to post and end up throwing my laptop across the room! oh well

p.p.s. I think i need to come up with a good shortening of my name, so far, that i dont mind some of the time, i get; A, Allie, and Lexi. any suggestions are wholely welcome and might just be rewarded ;)
